SPONSORS A Partnership • NIE partners with a variety of businesses and organizations throughout the year. • It is through the generous support of our community partners that NIE is able to provide teachers and students in Connecticut, classroom sets of the newspapers at a minimal cost. •The Courant matches all donations and 100% of the dollars are used to provide newspapers to classrooms. Community Participation • A contribution to NIE increases a sponsor’s visibility and good will in the community on a statewide basis. • A partnership attests to an organizations commitment to education and to providing students with challenging learning experiences. Recognition NIE sponsors are credited in all program materials including: • Promotional program brochures sent to all CT teachers • In-paper promotional ads, activity pages and/or special sections • Supplementary materials students take home and share with parents • NIE website • Full-run sponsor “thank you” ad published in The Courant. |
