What is an NIE Workshop?
There are two types of workshops. . .
AT OUR PLACE, NIE offers workshops in conjunction with certain programs.
Just check the catalog or PROGRAM descriptions on this website. Although these
workshops are offered to teachers at no cost, NIE requires a $15 registration
fee (a separate check, please) to hold your place and will be returned to you
at the workshop. Your place at the workshop is not assured until NIE has your
check. NIE's objective is to assure that participants will not be turned away
when space will be available.
YOUR PLACE:
NIE will also provide hands-on teacher workshops, demonstrating the use of the newspaper for every subject and every grade level, upon request.
