NIE's all-new and redesigned science program aims to get middle-grade students reading--and talking--about science!

  • Half page activities in the newspaper will jump start discussions about science and technology and push students into the newspaper and the Internet to further explore how science affects their lives.
  • Related journal activities and projects online will include high-interest, current news topics from the areas of space, the environment, global warming, health, natural resources, energy, and so much more!
