CAPT is a Fact!
Seize this opportunity for students to sharpen their CAPT skills in Science and Mathematics!

This 12-week program consists of reality-based practice lessons in science and mathematics. Each CAPT-like sample is written by a professional in the field and published in the Courant. Students will practice higher order of thinking skills with these challenging samples that will help lead to meaningful results.

This program is also recommended in preparation for the Connecticut Mastery Test, and the GED which also require reality-based studies.

ORDER AND RECEIVE:
• Classroom sets of 25 Hartford Courants - on 12 Wednesdays containing CAPT- like sample either in Mathematics (6) or Science (6).
• Teacher’s Guide - Step-by-step guide using newspaper articles for comprehension, analysis, and crafting a persuasive essay.
• CAPT-Like Sample Collection - A compilation of published samples from past years will offer students additional test practice.
